Frequently Asked Questions
1. What kind of coaching do you offer?
I offer executive and personal development coaching, specialising in leadership mindset, neurodivergent empowerment, and inclusive, values-based transformation. Whether you're navigating career change, building confidence, or leading a team, we’ll work together to create meaningful, sustainable change.
2. How is coaching different from therapy or mentoring?
Great question. Coaching is future-focused and action-oriented - it's about helping you get from where you are to where you want to be, like on a coach trip. I’ll help you unlock your own insights and strategies.
I won’t diagnose or treat mental health conditions (like a therapist). If I am going to offer advice or give you any answers (like a mentor might) but I will make it clear to you that I am going to mentor you/offer you some advice.
3. Who do you typically work with?
I work with professionals, creatives, business leaders, nurses and people who don’t always feel like they 'fit the mould' including neurodivergent and disabled clients. If you're ready for change but unsure where to start, you're in the right place.
I work with people going through employment challenges using a mix of coaching/mentoring/advice.
4. I'm neurodivergent / disabled — will coaching work for me?
Yes, and you're especially welcome here. My practice is designed to be inclusive, flexible, and trauma-informed. I understand that typical frameworks don’t work for everyone, and we’ll tailor our approach to suit you, not the other way around.
5. How many sessions will I need?
That depends on your goals. Some clients get what they need in just a few sessions; others prefer ongoing support over months. I offer one-off deep dives, short programmes, and longer-term packages, we will regularly review whether it’s still serving you.
The coaching may evolve from the initial aims.
6. What happens in a coaching session?
Sessions are a space for reflection, challenge, and growth. You bring the topic/gaol whether it's a work issue, confidence block, or decision you’re facing and I’ll guide the process using powerful questions, frameworks, and tools to help you think deeply and take action.
7. Where do sessions take place?
Most sessions are held online, but in-person coaching may be possible depending on location. If you need to move around while our sessions take place, that is acceptable.
I also offer coaching outside, including walking sessions for those who prefer a more embodied, nature-connected approach.
8. How much does coaching cost?
Fees vary depending on the format and length of support. I offer clear package options and a limited number of reduced-rate spaces to support accessibility. A free discovery call is available to explore fit before any commitment is made.
9. Do you accept 'Access to Work' clients?
Yes, I work with individuals funded through Access to Work. If you already have an award or are in the process of applying, I can provide quotes, session plans, and any required documentation to support your claim. Coaching can be a powerful part of your workplace support — and I’m experienced in making it work for both you and your employer.
10. Is everything I say confidential?
Yes, coaching is a confidential space. I abide by the EMCC Global Code of Ethics, and anything we discuss stays between us, unless there's a legal or safeguarding concern (which I’ll explain clearly, if it ever arises).
11. What if I’m not sure coaching is right for me?
That’s completely okay. Coaching isn’t for everyone, and it’s important you feel safe and supported. A discovery call gives us both the chance to explore your needs and see if we’re a good fit. If I’m not the right person, I’ll always try to signpost you to someone who might be.
12. Do you take notes during coaching sessions, and can I see them?
Yes, I will take light notes during or after our sessions, usually key insights, actions you’ve committed to, or questions to explore next time. These notes are always stored securely and confidentially, in line with GDPR and EMCC Global ethical guidelines.

If it helps your process, I’m happy to co-create a summary or action plan with you at the end of each session.

We can agree that I will send you a copy of any notes I take following our sessions.
13. How often should I have coaching sessions?
Coaching works best with some momentum, but also space for reflection and action. My recommendation is a minimum of one session every 2–4 weeks, depending on your goals and pace.
If you're working on something active, I suggest no more than 6 weeks between sessions - beyond that, it can be harder to maintain progress. That said, we’ll find a rhythm that works for you.
14. What’s your cancellation and rearrangement policy?
Life happens I get it. I ask for at least 48 hours’ notice to cancel or rearrange a session.
Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice may be charged in full, except in exceptional circumstances. If something unavoidable comes up, just let me know, I’ll always aim to be fair.
15. How flexible is the coaching program?
Very. I don’t believe in a rigid, one-size-fits-all approach. Sessions can be booked at a pace that suits your needs, and we can adjust the format, frequency, or goals as we go.
You can pause or shift your sessions if things change - whether that’s because of health, workload, or life in general. Coaching should support your life, not add pressure to it.
